Well, as the title suggests, this is a post dedicated to
my FAVORITE actor: Shahrukh Khan a.k.a King Khan!
Shahrukh Khan (born 2 November 1965), often
credited as Shah Rukh Khan and informally referred to as SRK, is
an Indian (and my favorite) film actor. Referred in the media as "The
King of Bollywood", Khan has acted in over 70 hindi films in genres
ranging from romantic dramas to action thrillers. His
contributions to the film industry have garnered him numerous
achievements including fourteen Film fare awards from thirty
nominations. His eight Film fare best actor award wins make him the most
awarded Bollywood actor of all time in that category, tied only with Dilip
Kumar. In 2005, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma
Shri for his contributions towards Indian cinema. Isn't that just WOW?
Many of you may think that now that Shahrukh has gone all old and
thin, it's time for him to quit movies. I don't think so!
Shahrukh has clearly created a legacy in the film industry
(which NO OTHER Khan can surpass!). When people can continue to love BigB with
all their heart, i ask what is wrong in loving SRK then! Just because he has
delivered a few duds in the past few months, it does not mean he can't act
anymore!
It was OBVIOUSLY Shahrukh Khan who taught me how to love! I
think he was my first love, back when i saw him in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'! And
seriously, Shahrukh ko dekhke BOHUT kuch hota hai! ;P
I mean, just look at him! Those playful eyes, the silky hair, the
cute dimples, the cherubic smile....
